We are going to Monalisa‘s house, The Louvre!
Going out from the metro station, we walked following the sign boards and saw this. We almost there.
If you followed the signage, you will passed by something like open building in gothic architecture with a high chamber. I think it was the gate.
The large pyramid is the main entrance to the museum. Cool right? Instead of starting the tour from the 1st level, we started from the basement. The museum has more than hundreds famous paintings, statues and artworks; Grande Odalisque, Napolean on the Battlefield of Eylau, The Two Sisters by Théodore Chassériau, Bonaparte crossing the Alps by Paul Delaroche, and the list goes on…
And finally I saw this famous painting by Leonardo Da Vinci.
Coming out from the exit, in front of the museum, there is Carrousel du Louvre shopping mall. If you read/watch ‘Da Vinci Code‘ novel by Dan Brown, this is The Inverted Pyramid (La Pyramide Inversée) where the sarcophagus with the remains of Mary Magdalene, according to the novel, located.
Touring the museum took more than 2 hours. I’m not sure if I explored the whole museum because we have to rush to our next destination. Maybe in my next visit, I should…

Take metro to ‘Palais Royal Musee Du Louvre‘ Station and follow the signage to reach the museum.
