Bateaux Mouches at Night

We started our Europe trip from Paris. It was in the early November. From London, we took the EuroStar train and stopped at the Gare Du Nord train station. Then we took taxi to our guesthouse ‘St Christopher Inn‘.

Our hostel is one of the best hostels in town. Since it was 8 of us, we booked the biggest room. Our room is big, clean, with bunk beds. I regret that I did not take any picture to show, but can check out from this website:

After checking in, we went to take Seine River Cruise by Bateaux Parisiens to see the whole Paris. The weather in Paris dropped faster compared to London. I did not prepare a thicker jacket as I thought the weather would be colder than London. Lucky I still prepared my gloves, thick scarf and my winter hat.

We reached the Seine river banks and queued about 10 minutes to board onto the cruise. They provide the electronic tour guide too. We could see Notre-Dame, the Eiffel Tower, Orsay Museum, Palais de Chaillot, the Louvre from the cruise…

Some of the buildings we can see from the cruise

And this is the night view of Eiffel Tower. So romantic right?

If you are going to Paris with your lover, I recommend you to take the cruise tour. The night view was so romantic and beautiful. I guess that’s why Paris is a popular destination for honeymoon right?

After alighting, we saw our photos that were taken on the cruise posted on the notice board. They sold as souvenirs. We bought ours too, although the price was a little bit expensive T.T

Guess where am I?

We took the metro back to the hostel. Look what I found? KitKat “French” version. I bought this from the vending machine at the metro station. They allow the passengers to eat and drink inside the train, therefore the metro/train there is not as clean as Singapore’s.
